Kerrang brings out The Album That Saved My Life new video series in which musicians talk about the point where everything changed for them, and Ihsahn marks this interesting beginning!

Well, for those who aren’t familiar with Kerrang!; here is some history notesThe UK-based magazine was founded in the year 1981, and focused mainly on the NWOBHM wave. The magazine featured lots of thrash and glam metal acts on its cover during the 80s and 90s, such as Slayer, Venom, Metallica and others.

The magazine was sold in April 2017, and it was believed at that time that the new owners were planning to relaunch Kerrang!.

Recently, and specifically early this month; April, Kerrang! made an announcement on its official website stating the release of their new video series project titled as The Album That Saved My Life. The project aims at The first time musicians actually had their hearts beating to heavy metal music, with its genuineness.

A great choice was picked to inaugurate this interesting video series; Ihsahn (solo artist) and Emperor’s frontman. His video on Kerrang!‘s YouTube video channel carries the name Ihsahn of Emperor on Iron Maiden’s Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, and is less than four minutes long.

The initiative is a cool one, but the video production can perhaps be done in a better way. Let us hope this improves by time to suit a big name as Kerrang! and the glorious musicians they plan to host for such a video series.
